Zambia Adventures

Looking for a bit of an adrenalin rush?

Imagine hanging suspended over a 100m deep gorge with the mighty Zambezi flowing below you. Only one word comes to mind – awesome!

Livingstone town is a few minutes away from the Victoria Falls that are shared by Zambia and Zimbabwe. While one third of the Falls are in Zambia, the no-man’s land in between the two countries is where one of the longest bungi jumps in the world has its home.

Activities in the area include: Bungi jumping, river cruises, white water rafting, river boarding, helicopter flights over the Falls, microlighting, jetboats, game drives, rhino walks, elephant experiences, horse back safaris, fishing, flying fox, zipline, gorge swing, canopy tour, swimming in Devil’s Pool on Livingstone Island, while leaning out over the Falls themselves, dinner trips on a steam train, bicycle tour, dusty road township experience and Boma dinner with African dancers.

Victoria Falls is an adventure mecca and a longer stay is required if you really want to experience all it has to offer.

Walking safaris amongst the wildlife of Africa is certainly guaranteed to raise your adrenalin levels. These can be enjoyed in the South & North Luangwa, Lower Zambezi, Kafue and Liuwa Plains. Combine a walking safari with canoeing on the Zambezi River where you often have a closeup of elephant grazing on the shore and other wildlife and your heart will definitely start racing.

Make sure you are fit and well and there is an almost endless list of exciting things to experience in Zambia.
